Cawing Crows
Cawing Crows Yesterday, I went to the beach. As I sat on the bench with my notebook to come up with some content ideas. I was taken by the serenity in that environment. Looking at the enormous waves smashing in the distance against a backdrop of a blue sky with cumulous clouds, my mind was incredibly tranquil. And the sound of water splashing on the coast made it extremely tranquil. Just then, a crow appeared and began cawing as I was writing. And it wasn't a soothing sound for me. I wanted it to take off from there right away. But I was aware that I had to either chase it away or simply shift my focus to the soothing sounds. The negative thoughts that run through my head are exactly like the black crow. It simply keeps cawing once it appears. Making me crazy, but as soon as I was able to shift my focus away from the crow, and toward the sound of the waves, it didn't disturb me as much.
